Being free

I wish to sit on the beach
And watch the crowd cheer and laugh
I wish to build castles with the sand
While everyone play by the waves
I wish to be free
As Free as the wind

Explanation:
This poem has it setting on a local beach. It could depict the life of a lonely lad, lady, teenager or people in general. It talks about being comfortable in one's zone, one's skin, in being oneself. In this rapidly evolving word, with the standards we build in our heads before being accepted by the society, it takes a whole lot of courage to be confident doing one's own thing.
The poem reveals the writer sitting on the beaches bank watching people and activities taking place around her. As we know, people who go to beach spend more time playing with the water and the waves. Their activity of playing by the waves represent 'the standards and norms we've built in our heads, or the one's the society built for us'. The ones we have to follow to be accepted by the society, to not be regarded as outcasts. The norms we painfully and exhausting follow, lying to ourselves that we'll be fine as long as the society accepts us, which is a total lie. For how would the society accept us when we can't even accept ourselves just the way we are? The standards that we can't ever complete the list. The ones that we would keep living our lives being frustrated, until we find time to accept ourselves and love ourselves just the way we are. For one thing that's so accurate and completely true is that; 'THE SUPREME BEING', our Creator, created us with perfect flaws, and to be imperfectly perfect, so we're just Awesome the we way we are.
In the end, the writer talks about building castles with the sand, a not as common action, being happy doing her own thing, and living her own life.
